Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

• Fill out our contact, audit, or referral forms
• Sign up for our Standard Plan subscription
• Communicate with us via WhatsApp or email

This may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, and website requirements.

Subscription and Account Data

When you subscribe to our Standard Plan, we collect and store the following in our secure database:

• Your contact and business details
• Your subscription status and billing history
• Your website details (domain, status, pages)

This data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. Only authorised LaunchCraft staff can access your account data.

Payment Data

Payments are processed by PayFast. LaunchCraft does not store your credit card number or banking details. PayFast tokenises your payment method for recurring billing. PayFast's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.

We do store transaction records (dates, amounts, status) for billing history and accounting purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver and maintain your website
• Process your subscription and send billing receipts
• Respond to your enquiries and provide support
• Send technical notices about your subscription (e.g. payment failures, renewals)
• Improve our services

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 collects anonymised data about page views, clicks, and sessions. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. You can opt out using your browser settings or a GA4 opt-out extension.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers necessary to operate our services:

• PayFast: payment processing
• Supabase: database and authentication
• Google Analytics: anonymised usage analytics
• Google Apps Script: form submission routing

Data Retention

We retain your account data while your subscription is active and for 90 days after cancellation. After 90 days, your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems. Transaction records are retained for 5 years as required for accounting and tax compliance.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), row-level security on our database, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to processing of your data
